“Cuban Poster Artists for the Future”
Twenty-nine Cuban designers launched a new poster project to raise the public’s awareness of environmental issues. Black and white posters printed in silkscreen, expose a variety of ecological concerns that threaten our planet. This outdoor exhibit was attended by people of all ages, some of whom were as young as 6-8. These posters call for action and hopefully, the planet will find new environmental advocates in these young viewers.
This exhibition is curated and financed by Cuban graphic designers Miguel Monkc &
Javier G. Borbolla.
The project is supported by the Cultural Council of the Spanish embassy in Cuba, the Havana Film Festival, and the CartelON project.
